In 2021, we managed Sealand Adventure Sports' social media platforms, gaining valuable insights into social media strategies and enhancing the shop's sales through digital marketing efforts. This hands-on experience taught us how to effectively operate social media channels and maintain organization to effectively reach Sealand's target audience.

Content Curation

As the marketing team responsible for Sealand Adventure Sports' social media presence, we produced a variety of videos, photos, and edits for the shop. Our tasks included developing monthly campaigns, creating content calendars, and analyzing data to determine effective advertising strategies for Sealand's audience. By posting multiple times a week, we kept followers from Charleston, SC, and tourists updated on the latest products and activities in and around the store.

Within the instagram, you can see images we took of the store and some of the products they offer. Using our Nikon camera, we went to Charleston, SC, and photographed the store to establish its brand image on social media. By involving two models, we presented some of the store's top clothing and engaged in the summer activities available. This allowed us to give followers a firsthand look at the experience of buying these enjoyable activities. 

We analyzed and generated content highlighting the local business to attract customers. Our approach involved showcasing lesser-known beach activities and illustrating their enjoyment. We curated content featuring bike rentals, surfboard rentals, kiteboarding lessons, kiteboarding gear, and beach accessories through a mix of videos, stories, and a series of posts.
